Here's a test of 7 powders. Two guns were used. TC Hawken, and the GPR. I've always said Swiss powder is as strong as T7. I was wrong. It's stronger. Great powder.

Another interesting thing to look at is Pyrodex 2F turned out to be the most accurate powder.

Also, look at the difference in the two guns. TC is a 28" barrel, and the GPR is 32". Some powders do much better in the longer barrel. Who would have thought Goex would beat Pyro in fps?

Some powders need the longer barrel to burn better.

Muley why do you think GOEX was the least accurate?  (Second to last in the first series and last in the second series)

I have no idea Joe. It's always been accurate for me, but i've never compared it to other powders in the same gun.

Plus, I almost always used Swiss. I'll probably use Swiss in the new Renegade too. It cost more, but you can use less for the same fps as Goex. It still comes out more expensive, but cheaper than BH and high priced conicals. So, overall it will be cheaper to shoot the Renegade with Swiss and a PRB than an inline. For me...more fun too.  Very Happy

Same process for all powders, so you can still compare. Besides the patches had bore butter on them.
