 NEW MCGOWEN 40 CAL.

PostSubject: NEW MCGOWEN 40 CAL.   March 3rd 2014, 7:39 pm

Well finally the stock for the new 40 cal. came in today, so i went ahead tonight and did the work I need to do to the stock, and drop her in, and she looks good. Now I have a excuse to go out Weds. and shoot her again. Any way here is what she look like now.

love it, the brown looks a lot more warming than the gray.

Looks great! I am more a grey laminate, person but, the Getel stock I got for my encore is a black onyx and it has really grown on me, too.

Looking to do a rem 700 build now and was thinking about a .40 until I checked our regs and it is a no no, here. I have to go with a bore of .44 or larger.
