My wife just bought me this today for my birthday what a girl !  Anyway it has the accelerator breech plug I just want to confirm a couple things one it is Blackhorn 209 compatible and secondly who has a pet load for the Traditions inlines ?  The O ring on the plug needs a light coating of lithium grease correct ?

Thanks !

Thats correct, a light coat of grease on that o ring helps lube it and make it easier to install.

BH209 is not a problem!

The harvester scorpion pt gold in both 260 and 300gr are awesome. The 260s shot great with 110gr bh209 & Yellow ez load sabot. Or the harvester crush rib sabot. Mine also loved the 250-300gr powerbelt aerolite with 100gr bh209, 250gr thor with 100gr bh209.

Jon,

Was you Vortek tight bored ?  I fired Buckstalker today and the only rounds I could get down without busting my guts was the  300 gr pt gold 4 shots 1 3/4 inches not bad .  Only issue with this was that it was a package scope included but come on Traditions tighten down the scope bases, I had to rezero after 4 rds because the bases loosened well there tight and loc- tighted down now. I had some shockwave to zero it with but their sabot would barely start  in the barrel thats why I asked about the barrel tolerances.

The bases on mine were so tight I almost didnt think i could get them off. Mine isn't tight bored, it all depends on what sabot is used. An orange mmp sabot is impossible to load. An mmp-24 loads nice, along with the harvester black smooth sabot. My bore takes a .502" thor so thats a bit on the larger side of bores.
