Balls don't do much good without that cylindrical object in front.  silent

There's another thing that I didn't mention. The maxi's are more accurate than a PRB.

Plus, at 75 yds they have more than twice the fpe.

Oh yeah, I can load them faster too with no swabbing.

One last note. Through the generosity of Carlos. They were free. How can I not use them?

Just ragging on you Pete .....I use them MAXI's as well and they are very good game takers. After all how can you argue with 370gr of lead flying at +1200 fps ?

I know, but the truth is I wouldn't be pressured into using a load that I think is too light.

My Rolling Block gives me about 1400 fps with 100gr Wano 2F and 1700 fps with 130gr Wano 2F using a 370gr MAXI that I resize to just tighter than slip fit.

What a lot of guys forget is the Renegade, and maxi were made to work together. It doesn't always work tha way with some guns, but it sure does with mine. It's scary accurate. As good as any inline i've owned that were shooting modern bullets and BH.

What I really like is the holes it puts in paper. They look like they were put in by a paper punch. So, I know i'm getting no tumbling.

1-48 with fairly shallow rifling. Perfect for lead conicals in the 370gr size.
