A GUN STORE IN MN.HAS THE CVA STALKER IN 45-70 FOR $200.00 BRAND NEW PLUS $35.00 FOR SHIPPING.IT IS ADVERTISED ON GUNBROKER.COM.THE GUYS NAME IS BRAD.I AM GOING TO HAVE HIM SHIP ONE TO A FFL NEAR ME THEN SHIP THE BARREL OFF TO SLUFOOT FOR THE CONVERSION.I MIGHT HAVE A TOTAL OF $400.00 IN A SMOKELESS MUZZLELOADER.

Yeah me too , kinda like the 45/70 with big lead bullets.

Unfortunately because of our antiquated laws, I would have to drive about 3 hours before I can use a rifle cartridge. And even though they still haven't legalized smokeless in my part of the state, I can use BH209 in mine & use smokeless should I decide to go north. It's all user preference.

GREG,THAT IS MY WAY OF THINKING AS WELL.SMOKELESS WHEN  I CAN AND BH209 ON THE FLIP SIDE.THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.
