Last week when shooting at 200 yards with both the Apex conversion and LDR I was able to recover a bullet. Unfortunately I wasn't able to recover the 300 grain PT gold from the LDR after going through 5 water jugs. I was able to find a 250 grain Barnes shot from the Apex that only went through the target backing and into the sand. Muzzle velocity was in the 2500 fps range. It weighs 249.7 grains, I removed the tip to get all of the dirt and stuff out for an accurate weight. Average diameter is about .8".
The strange part is the rifling is cut well into the bullet but only on the one side.  I'm not sure what to think about this. I was struggling accuracy wise but it was only my second time shooting sabot less.

It looks like the flat side impacted sand and obliterated the striations a lot.
