Won't a one piece make it harder to load, and unload?

A one piece base will be a big hassle when loading and cleaning.

The bare primer system is a good system IMHO.  You may need to try different primers to find a fit which is blowback free.  Winchester 209's are the longest and will probably work best.

Let me know if the gun is not to your liking.  I'm always looking for one.

I have used a rubber o-ring and get no blow by, the only problem is with the Knight is rotating the bolt it rips the o-ring sometimes. What we have done instead is we correct the HEAD SPACE on the primer & Bolt Face with STAINLESS STEEL SHIMS. I got this from ( sabotloader ) off another forum.

OPPPPPPS, I had a BRAIN FART, I see this is the MOUNTAINEER, I haven't had time to work with mine yet, the system above works with the other Knights with the bare primer. I would go with the Win 209 primer, that's all I use with the Knights, they go boom every time , every time. I'll send you a PM.
