PostSubject: Optima v2 question   September 11th 2014, 10:38 pm

I've been on the fence about buying my brother a wolf vs optima v2 for a while now and he's decided on the optima. Currently we're going through accessories such as the BH209 powder and shim kit, but next up is the scope(which we do not want the package konus scope). I see there are 2 ways of buying the optima v2. With durasight scope mounts and with fiber optics. The fiber optics package seems to be cheaper so my question to you all is this... are there pre-tapped holes on the fiber optic package optima v2 for custom scopes or would I have to buy the one with the scope mounts and replace them with something other than durasights? Thanks!

Yes there are pre drilled scope mounting holes in the barrels on all CVA muzzle loaders.

Durasight or the DNZ reaper mounts work great. Get in touch with Carlos at ed's gun shop, the DNZ is double what the durasight costs but is much lighter weight.

Thanks! I am glad to hear that. I am already in contact with him, but feel bad for bombarding him with so many questions Smile
