What are you guys using for a field ramrod since many SML's don't have a ramrod thimble set up??

Thanks.

I bought a takedown model from Robert "Slufoot" when he did the conversion on my Apex. It is 4-5 sections that thread together and has a T handle. The individual sections have a hole drilled so if they get stuck together you can break them free without damaging the finish.  I've also seen plans on another forum showing how to make a bungee corded version that would be fine for loading but nothing else.

I have the 3 piece with bungee cord that I bought from Luke at www.smokelessmz.com. for loading only.  Works Great!

Is it stable and "stiff" enough to really push a bullet down in the field?

Do you use a spinjag with it?

Thanks

Yes it is really is. I do use the spinjag.  I leave the spinjag attached even when folded up and in the storage pouch.
