PostSubject: CHRISTMAS PRESENT.   January 7th 2015, 5:05 pm

Well I know there was a thread about what we got for Christmas, and since I knew this was going to take  few days, I did not put it in. This was my present for Christmas to myself. The gun was already built so I did not have to wait ti long. It is a 416 cal. REMPAC, and like i needed another, but what the heck. It has a Boyd's custom stock on in SS, and yes it has a muzzle break. I took her out today for the first test run. Used a 300 gr. TSX with 95 gr. of IMR 4350 at 2374 fps. She shot great, and top her off with a VX-R 4x12x50 Fire Dot which I had converted to CDS. More testing is required, but I have plenty of time now. The group was three shots at 100 yrds.
Carlos

95 gr. of 4350 .. that's gotta hurt.
My 7x57 Imp uses 52 gr of 4350 and it is not bad but almost double that is quite a load. No

I'm almost finished screwing my SML Christmas santa present together and will show a picture as soon as it's done, but it's nothing like that sweet looking rig.

Too bad it's not very accurate! Shocked headslap
