Yes if Dan wants her, shes almost ready to be loved. Just waiting on the rear sight to come in and buff the butt plate.

Here you go Dan! Just a few better grade pictures to show what she looks like in natural light. Just waiting on the correct ramrod and the rear sight.




Once those parts are installed, I'll put her in a gunsock, bubble wrapped and boxed up. With some free time today, I am going to and Remington 40x the bore for a little extra polishing.

Why is the brass at the rear blackened while that at the front is shiny?

I like that dark look.

I like that dark look.
If he makes it all shiny, it might  blind the deer and make him still, at the time of the shot. scratch

just so its not over browned. The ramrod thimbles and the wedge key plates are heavy on wear and tear.
