PostSubject: ACCURA V2 NITRITE LR   March 7th 2015, 7:02 pm

Well guys finally got her together today, and she is ready to go in the morning to the range. I put a DNZ camo mount on it and a Bushnell DOA 250. Planing on zero tomorrow, and shoot a few different bullets time permitting, and if I get the chance I will shoot at 200 yrds. One thing I will do is set up the crony, and see if I get more speed out of this barrel. I will tell you this, even with the 30" barrel this gun balances great.
Carlos

Looks nice...you should get more MV from it with the longer barrel...more powder burn time...should be fun to shoot....maybe dave needs one of these also..LOl...

Have fun at the range

Looks nice Carlos, it would be interesting to see the difference in velocity between it and the Traditions LDR. I get 2009 fps with the 300 grain PT gold on top of 110 grains of BH209. I use a beta Chrony.

I use a Crony brand, but will be getting a new that Battenfeld makes.

Carlos,

She's a beauty. With the right load and that barrel, your going to reach out and touch them and they won't even know you were there.
GOOD LUCK BUDDY

Hope you're having a great time at the range. I'm looking forward to the report & especially the chrony results. I absolutely love the black color on these guns too.

I'll guess 100fps more than the 27" V2 barrel.

I wish I had a chrono.  Oddly enough, my Kodiak Pro with its 29" SS Fluted barrel is the only MLer I have that actually shoots 120 grains of BH209 accurately.  I always wondered if there was a significant increase in f.p.s.  Perhaps not. Neutral
