PostSubject: got my new GPR barrel in this morning   March 13th 2015, 5:54 pm

Im the idiot who ended up breaking off the rear barrel lug on my GPR while trying to tighten up the wedge keys. Last month after breaking off the barrel lug I called Lyman customer service and they told me to send the barrel to them. They then sent me an email saying that they could not repair the barrel and that they were going to send me a new one. I got the new barrel and tang in this morning. I put the rifle together to check the over all fit. Everything fit together nice and snug including the wedge keys. Lyman only has a one year warranty on their rifles. My rifle is eight years old and they took care of me any way. Their customer service could have told me to take a hike but they didnt. Lyman stood behind their products and I am grateful. I also have their deerstalker in .54. Lyman treated me beyond fair and will always have my business. What next? Maybe a Trade Rifle!

You are very fortunate. They wouldn't even respond to my correspondence when I had a problem with their reloading dies.

That's why I never email, and always call all companies. They have to respond to that.
