what is the best powder to use in a inline 50 cal? open sites. Thompson center omega. pig

pellets and not lose powder.

Well that kinda wipes out the "best powder" part. Blackhorn209 by far is the best powder for a modern inline, especially that Omega.

For pellets, and far from being the best, Triple 7 pellets. They do require swabbing between each shot though. Use a Winchester W209 or Winchester 777 primer.

Thanks for the reply.

That is what I am using now. I like it. I clean after every three shots and it seems to work well for me. I can keep a group at 100 yards with open sights the size of a softball or smaller using a rest and it depends on the day. Or maybe depends on me I should say.
