I got my 45 Rem/McGowen back from Black Ice. I am very happy with the way it turned out.  Cant wait to shoot it!

It is $175 for the coating and it took about 4 months to get it back. They were really backed up.

That looks really nice! It looks like they did the action too? If so, I'd be interested in seeing if it stands up to the wear. Keep us posted.

Thanks guys. Can't wait to get to the range.

Greg, yes the action is done as well. From what I have read it will hold up but time will tell.

Scott that is a great looking rifle, and I know she will shoot. Just got back from down your way. Was in Spartanburg all day today with SAVAGE TEAM shooting the new 17 wsm, and the new A17 HMR. Both are tack drivers.

Sounds like a fun day Carlos. This heat is no fun though.  Supposed to be 100 again today.
