I have done some range reports with the Optima in The shooting range section, I have used different bullets and different sabots, the powder charge has remained the same for me and that is 110 gr of BH 209 by Volume, this is the powder charge I like and the gun seems to like it also.

The one I had shot MOA at 115yds with 100gr of BH with both the 260gr PT Gold, and Barnes 250gr T-EZ bullets. I used Fed 209a primers.

My last Optima was the most bullet friendly gun I've ever owned, provided that if I was using sabots they had to be Harvester EZ Load smooth sabots. Everything from Barnes, Hornady, Speer, & even Powerbelt Aerolites would shoot the same hole at 100 yards.

Well under 2" has been normal for me with the Optimas Ive owned. You cant always get the 3 shots touching but its pretty damn close on the good days. Other days you seem to get shot #2 to wiggle out of the group LOL.
