PostSubject: Barrel cleaning   September 24th 2015, 3:05 pm

Do you guys ever get your barrel completely clean. I thought I had it clean after shooting it last. Today I ran a couple of patches down the barrel with some Ballistol on them and they came out dirty. Not rust just powder residue. I cleaned using hot water, after shooting it last. What am I doing wrong? --Thanks

Try a little dish soap or 409 cleaner in the water first, then plain hot water, dry patches and 91+ rubbing alcohol. If storing it for awhile, give it a wipe with Barricade or Stealth.
