PostSubject: Hello from Central New York   December 5th 2015, 11:15 pm

Hello from the once proud state of New York! I stumbled on this site Google searching reviews on CVA Accura v2's and load preferences. I recently sold my TC Triumph to my BiL and ordered an Accura v2 Nitride from a buddy. From what I can see, there's a wealth of knowledge here and I'm sure I'll be throwing out some questions in the near future.

For the time being, I'll be using up my existing supply of White Hots and 250 grain Aerolites before buying a bunch of new stuff. I anticipate pretty good results with them, but will likely move onto loose powder down the road. When the time comes, the Blackhorn questions will start (although most of the questions are already answered).

I'll likely be jumping in on many existing threads and sharing all kinds of photos and stories about turkey/deer hunting and bass/trout fishing. It looks like there are many like-minded folks here.

Anyhow, I hope to get the new ML around Tuesday, get it cleaned up, mount a scope and punch some holes in paper.

Thanks in advance, the questions are soon to come.

Jim

Welcome aboard? You will never regret the switch to loose powder as long as it is BH 209. That alone will give you much better consistency once you find what load works best for your rifle. Several good bullets to choose from. I vote for the Barnes. And somewhere between 90 to 110 of BH209 should get you there.

Welcome again.

Welcome Jim! I really like those Aerolites. When you do switch, try the the 300gr Aerolite. The holes they leave are just naaaasty!
