This past weekend deer hunting was terrible with highs in the 70's and lots of fog.  So when this guy stepped out the McRem .45 loaded with the 250 FTX and 10/50 SR4759/IMR4198, I cancelled his Christmas!

Nice. Are you going to keep the pelt? Looks like a good one.

No, although he had a very nice pelt.  He stunk to high heaven!

Nice yote...after the gun season here I will start coyote hunting..I was just looking at some electronic calls..that an a perdue chicken will do the job...lol...the farm I just started to hunt had lots of deer sign..BUT also had a ton of coyote sign...the farmer begged me to get them..but I have lots out back of my house also...they wreaked havoc on the deer last winter...big kill from them..5 feet of snow and the deer cant really get away fast from them..the yotes can just about walk on the crust of snow to chase them...

Nice shooting on a song dog, if I have a choice of a deer or a dog the dog wins. We have so many where we hunt it is a big problem,  3 years ago I filled out deer tags and was able to get 7 dogs. Made a difference starting see some turkeys down at the farm.

Great job Scott! Guys are knocking a few down around here too. Looks like that "bad bullet" you've been using is killing everything you shoot with it!!
It's been way to warm up north too, still no snow on the ground. Possibly later this week. My season ends Sunday.

Greg
