PostSubject: THE PHOENIX   December 15th 2015, 7:43 pm

Well after much waiting she is finally here. I gave her the name of the PHOENIX, due to the fact that it is a beautiful gun, but deadly also, and it will spit out fire. It has a Shilen 26" barrel and it is in .416. The gun is built on a 700 center fire action, and it has a Boyd's COYOTE TAN TH stock which s bedded to the action and barrel, and of course a Harrel's brake on it. I just put a Leupold VX-R 4x12x50 CDS, Wind Plex on it and also fire dot. Still waiting on the sizing die, but should be here tomorrow, and as soon as I get some bullets size she will be going to the range for brake in. Surprise Dave, here she is ready to go and she will serve right, but I get to shoot it first. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Awesome rifle Carlos. Great name you gave it. Sounds like you put a lot into it. She has got to be a shooter. Seems to pretty to get dirty or scratched.
I'm sure that every that comes in contact with that rifle is going to enjoy it.

That came out better than I ever imagine, That is sharp looking, Now when your at the range and shooting it, Don't leave any blood on it, this way when I get it, and the wife breaks it in, there will be only 1 DNA on it MINE. It looks great, and thank you for helping with the whole thing.
The bottom pic of the guns was Carlos's new gun 358, the one with the fluted barrel.
Thanks again t up t up t up

WoW..Thats a beautiful rifle..Dave will be like a kid on Christmas morn when he gets her...You dressed her very pretty Carlos...now Dave will be able to take the 500+ yard shots...he is good enough to make them too...

Carlos your .358 is very pretty also...I like that Tacticool stock also..both rifles have nice wood...The Coyote is nice once you see it on a rifle..

I hope Daves Shilen is tight like mine cause it shoots very nice..

Congrats Dave on a beautiful rifle...Merry Christmas..lol....

Thank you everyone, Everything was Carlos and Cole, they did a great job on it. When Carlos and I started talking about it, The only thing I asked for on it was the stock and the muzzle brake, everything else was up to them, after I thought about it, and what I had said headslap. It looks really sharp.
