If we have any 20 ga deer hunters out there what slug do you use ?  I used the Rem.3 inch Accu-tips but am not enamored with their penetration I got a nice 9 pt and I hit it twice behind the shoulder and neither round exitted so I am looking for more penetration and maintaining accuracy.

For slugs, I just use plain Winchester lead Foster-type ones. Those sabot slugs are too damned expensive.

I usually use buckshot in 20 ga, for hog hunting but I shot behind a ~130 lb. hog yesterday as it busted through the palmettos so it didn't do any good. It was red with black spots and looked to be fat from the 3 millisecond look I got.

I'm new to 20ga therefore can't be of any real help but have tried several brands and planned on staying with the 2 3/4" Accutips as my gun seems to like them.  I can't speak for how they do on game but I do know first hand that the 12ga version work very well and I've read great things about the 20's too - otherwise maybe Federal Trophy Copper, I hear they are good too but my gun doesn't shoot them as good.

When I was using my 20 I used Winchester Supreme Partition Gold with fantastic results but now I would use the Hornady Monoflex

Trophy Copper in my USH, the old Winchester Supreme 3" did well also. The newer Winchester Partition are ok accuracy wise and perform decent on game. I use the Hornady SST and sometimes they were good others not as much for accuracy.
I've never tried any of the Remington versions.
