Traded a recently traded for Bill Eyre Flintlock shotgun for this due to the fact that flintlocks make me flinch too much..
All I can say about this Pederosoli is man are they nice weapons, fit/finish is excellent, very nice deep bluing..
took gun out and shot it twice at a dead tree at about 20 yds just to see if it would fire functioned flawlessly. This gun has only been fired 20 times at most ever and it looks unfired, no marks dings scratches, powder marks etc..
If anyone has one of these and has worked up a turkey load for it would like to hear it for a practical starting point, looking forward to try busting a turkey with it..

Nice!  I'm always looking at those beauts on the Pedersoli website.

You might get away with you shotty on the easy chair.  But you best get those pointy arrows off before your better half halves you!

Yeh, but the clatter from the BBs rattling around in the barrel will frighten off any wild turkey. Laughing

Very nice side by side.

I imagine you will use the full choke tubes for turkeys. Do you remove the chokes to be able to reload easier? Bending the cards never seemed like a good choice to me.

I don't have a Pedersoli but I have two SxS shotguns, both with cylinder chokes. I use 1 3/8 oz. of copper-plated #5s over 80-85 gr of 2F. I only use 1/3 of a lubed wad over the OP wad and 2 OS cards when hunting so the first shot doesn't move the second shot left in the other barrel.

I've only fired it 2 times so far but I was able to load the wads and cards w/o taking out the tubes, with improved cyl. and modified choke tubes..
