PostSubject: HOWIE AT THE RANGE   February 28th 2016, 7:04 pm

Re mane  this one HOWIE, short for the HOWITZER. This is the 458 which I took out today to try a new bullet/powder combo. The bullet was a 344 gr. BOMB, and the powder load was 90 gr. of IMR 3031. Only shot it at 100 yrds since it was a new load, and everything fell into place. No scope adjustment, and I only fired three shot. Next outing will be Weds. and this time will take her out to 500/600 yrds and see waht the new bullets will do. Did crony the load, but will do next outing. Was real happy with everything.

Great shooting and a real nice looking set up. Howie is a good name for that land cannon.
