I was recently browsing on ebay for a replacement let's just say for the heck of it.  When I happen to see something called a Ranson lock and stock for sale.  The description said that these parts would fit TC and Lyman/Investarms guns (not to mention some of the Cabella's guns made by Investarms).

I did some searching on the web, and found out that the company is no longer in business.  Anyone have any actual experience with these guns?  Were they any good?

BTW, it's just curiosity: (not kills the cat) , and not an itch to pick up one.

I happen to take a look at Armslist under muzzleloaders in my area and the first one listed is a Ranson .58 cal.  $150.00 is probably a pretty good deal.

I'm glad the seller has no shipping listed.  For that price, I would be tempted to buy it.  Even tho I have no idea what the rest of the gun looks like.

I just looked for the listing this morning on Armslist and the seller has deactivated it so it must of sold.
