I have the chance to get some roundball the catch is that its .491 and my Inline uses .490 with .015 patches, would the .491 work with my setup?

Sure, if it actually is a .491" that is. Sometimes measuring can be difficult and just a bit off. Harder alloy in the lead may cause the ball to "swell" as it hardens but other than that, I see no reason why you'd have a difficult time. :rtup

Yes.
If you were to measure the diameter of each ball, you would see a variation between most of them.

Hello.
I shoot .490 balls and .015 patches with my Traditions Pursuit. I know it has a fast twist (1 turn / 28") for PRB but it works with light powder loads, I use 45grains of 3F swiss black powder. At 55 yard this is what I get (there are 13 shots in this target)... See picture below. The first shots were touching each other but all went to the right, that's because my shooting position was not comfortable, once I found a more comfortable position, all the shots went into the ten ring. Obviously, I was shooting with the forestock supported by a shooting bag and used my left hand, placed the butt stock, for aiming.

By the way, I use cheap body cream as a lubricant for the patches.
